In a notice to the Spanish National Securities Market Commission, Brookfield stated: “In relation to recent media speculation about a potential offer for Grifols (GRFS) S.A., Brookfield Capital Partners Limited discloses the following inside information. After extensive due diligence and having considered the reactions of the Grifols Transaction Committee and the Grifols Board to the potential offer, as disclosed to the market on 19 November 2024, this morning Brookfield informed the Grifols Transaction Committee that in the current circumstances it is not in a position to continue with a potential offer for Grifols.”
