Barclays raised the firm’s price target on Brinker to $36 from $34 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. The company’s fiscal Q1 comp was strong, albeit in-line with estimates, while easing inflation and outsized pricing drove upside to margin and earnings, the analyst tells investors in a research note. And importantly, October comp was strong, with traffic reverting positive and outpacing the segment, says the firm.
