Senator Cory Booker said lawmakers are looking to revive a package of marijuana reform legislation, stating that the failure to progress banking solutions for the space "literally means that hundreds of businesses go out of business", Marijuana Moment’s Kyle Jaeger reports, citing comments made by Booker. The remarks came after Minorities for Medical Marijuana advocates approached the senator calling on him to push for passage of the SAFE Banking Act. Publicly traded companies in the space include Aurora Cannabis (ACB), CV Sciences (CVSI), CannTrust Holdings (CNTTF), Canopy Growth (CGC), Cronos Group (CRON), Goodness Growth (GDNSF), Green Thumb Industries (GTBIF), India Globalization Capital (IGC), Tilray (TLRY), Trees Corporation (CANN), Trulieve Cannabis (TCNNF) and Zynerba (ZYNE).
