Bank of America cut short an online conference on geopolitics and apologized to attendees after some reacted strongly to what they considered pro-Russian comments about the war in Ukraine, the Financial Times’ Jonathan Wheatley reports, citing three people who attended the event. The conference was meant to be a two-day endeavor starting on Tuesday, but the bank cancelled three sessions addressing U.S. sanctions on Russia and Russia-U.S. relations, the author says.
