Boeing CEO David Calhoun said that the planemaker has to acknowledge its mistake as the company grapples with door-plug failures that have resulted in about 170 of its aircraft being grounded, the Wall Street Journal’s Andrew Tangel reports. In an address to staff, the CEO indicated a misstep by the company played a role, the author says. “We’re gonna approach it with 100% and complete transparency every step of the way,” he said. “We are going to work with the who is investigating the accident itself to find out what the cause is.”
