Boeing was awarded a $457.69M modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. This modification exercises an option that increases the contract ceiling to provide additional aircraft inductions, continued non-recurring engineering, systems engineering and program management support to extend service life from 6,000 flight hours to 10,000 flight hours and incorporate Block III avionics capabilities for 29 F/A-18 Block II Super Hornets. Work is expected to be completed in June 2026. No funds will be obligated at the time of award; funds will be obligated on individual orders as they are issued. Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
