Boeing awarded $439.62M Air Force contract modification

Boeing has been awarded a $439.62M contract modification to a previously awarded contract for the production and launch of Wideband Global Satellite Communications Space Vehicle 12. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $3.1B. Work is expected to be completed by January 31, 2029. FY23 Space Force procurement funds in the amount of $439.62M are being obligated at time of award. Space Systems Command is the contracting activity.
