2023 video game “Diablo 4” has earned developer Blizzard, which is owned by Microsoft, roughly $150M form in-game microtransactions since its release, Eurogamer’s Vikki Blake reports, citing a LinkedIn page from the game’s senior product manager Harrison Froeshke. According to the since-altered page, Froeschke led the “monetisation strategy of the store cosmetics, pricing, bundle offers, personalized discounts, and roadmap planning which have driven over $150m lifetime revenue,” the author notes.
