A consortium led by Blackstone is nearing a deal to acquire Australian data center group AirTrunk for $13.53B including debt, Reuters’ Kane Wu and Gnaneshwar Rajan report, citing a person familiar with the matter. Blackstone and its partner, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, emerged as the preferred buyer for AirTrunk, after outbidding a rival investor group, the person said.
