Bill Simmons, founder of The Ringer, said he has agreed to a new contract at Spotify (SPOT), which acquired The Ringer in 2020, Bloomberg’s Lucas Shaw reports. Simmons will continue his namesake podcast covering sports and pop culture and serve as the company’s head of talk strategy for at least two years, reporting to Spotify’s podcast head Roman Wasenmueller, the author notes.
