Beyond Meat revamps retail sales strategy around five grocers, WSJ says

Beyond Meat (BYND) is overhauling its retail sales strategy to focus on five major supermarkets and hiring a new market executive, the Wall Street Journal’s Jesse Newman reports. The company is centering its retail activities around Kroger (KR), Walmart (WMT), Publix, Costco (COST), and Whole Foods (AMZN), the author says, citing internal company presentations and documents. In addition, Beyond is hiring Akerho Oghoghomeh, former marketing executive at Red Bull North America, to oversee its global marketing efforts, the author notes. Reference Link
