Best Buy-owned Lively faces complaints after 3G shutdown, WSJ reports

Lively, a phone service owned by Best Buy (BBY), is facing customer complaints after its Jitterbug Flip phone stopped working for some users beginning in the new year following the planned shutdown of Verizon’s (VZ) 3G network, the Wall Street Journal’s Will Feuer and Thomas Gryta reports, citing affected customers. "As a result of network updates made on Jan. 2, some customers with a Jitterbug Flip phone are experiencing a disruption to their service," Best Buy said, adding it is working to resolve the problem and Jitterbug Flip2 phones, Jitterbug smartphones and Lively-branded devices aren’t affected.
