Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B) (BRK.A) is near a deal to buy Occidental Petroleum’s (OXY) petrochemical business for around $10B, according to The Wall Street Journal’s Lauren Thomas, Ben Dummett and Benoit Morenne, citing people familiar with the matter. The deal could come together within days, the sources said.
