Barclays upgraded BE Semiconductor to Overweight from Equal Weight with a price target of EUR 175, up from EUR 150. The analyst says artificial intelligence continues to drive divergence in European Union semis. Large investments are being suggested and could start to drive increased investments in the next 12 months, but risk remains to the upside based on Barclays’ new proprietary global wafer model, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
