BASF upgraded to Buy from Hold at Berenberg

Berenberg upgraded BASF to Buy from Hold with a price target of EUR 58, up from EUR 50. The analyst says “there can hardly be a more compelling reason for turning buyers” of the stock than the start of a recovery from the biggest slump in European chemicals volumes in decades. Indications continue to grow of such a recovery, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
