BMO Capital analyst James Fotheringham lowered the firm’s price target on Bank of America to $41 from $43 and keeps a Market Perform rating on the shares. While the company beat on Q1 revenue, its net interest income guidance disappointed relative to its peers, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Bank of America demonstrated positive operating leverage over the past seven consecutive quarters, but its cost guidance for the first half of the year was above expectations, the firm added.
