RBC Capital analyst Arun Viswanathan lowered the firm’s price target on Ball Corp. to $51 from $59 and keeps a Sector Perform rating on the shares as part of a broader research note on Packaging ahead of the Q3 earnings season. Overall, volumes in packaging remain challenged with persistent destocking and inflation impacts, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm adds it is also more cautious on the company given the customer and category mix and fewer catalysts.
