Baker Hughes reports U.S. rig count down 2 to 619 rigs

Baker Hughes reports that the U.S. rig count is down 2 from last week to 619 with oil rigs unchanged at 499, gas rigs down 2 to 117 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 3. The U.S. rig count is down 140 rigs from last year’s count of 759 with oil rigs down 100, gas rigs down 41 and miscellaneous up 1 to 2. The U.S. Offshore rig count is unchanged at 19, up 7 year-over-year.
