B. Riley starts ‘uniquely positioned’ Hudson Technologies with bullish view

B. Riley last night initiated coverage of Hudson Technologies with a Buy rating and $17 price target. Hudson is a leading provider of sustainable refrigerant products and services for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry with a comprehensive life cycle of solutions from the initial refrigerant sale to recovery, reclamation, and reuse, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says the company is “uniquely positioned” as the largest U.S. reclaimer of refrigerants to benefit from anticipated price escalations and growing reclamation demand associated with the accelerated phasedown of new hydrofluorocarbon production under the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act.
