Wells Fargo analyst Elyse Greenspan raised the firm’s price target on Axis Capital to $74 from $63 and keeps an Underweight rating on the shares. The firm notes the company posted strong bottom-line results, driven by better underlying margins in both segments and higher investment income. Axis did not see reserve movement in Q2, which is a positive given the actions taken in Q4 2023, Wells adds.
