AT&T said it plans to offer bill credits for network outages as part of new efforts to draw customers, Reuters’ Harshita Mary Varghese reports. “Four years ago, we were losing share in the industry for a significant period of time,” Jenifer Robertson, executive vice president and GM, AT&T Mass Markets & Mobility, told Reuters. The initiative, which will go live Thursday, is part of AT&T’s efforts to “make it right” for customers if the company again fails to deliver on its promise of dependable connectivity, the author notes.
