AT&T outage left many customers unable to complete calls, CNN says

AT&T resolved an outage that prevented many customers from completing calls between carriers on Tuesday, Samantha Kelly of CNN reports. “The interoperability issue between carriers has been resolved,” an AT&T spokesperson said. “We collaborated with the other carrier to find a solution and appreciate our customers patience during this period.” Website Down Detector showed a spike in reports of issues starting at 1pm and lasting until 6pm, with New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Pittsburgh and Indianapolis as the cities with the most reported issues.
