ASML is set to invest EUR 100M in 2023, with plans to allocate the same amount each year in the future, to its chipmaking facility in Berlin, Kamil Kowalcze of Bloomberg wrote, citing a report by Handelsblatt newspaper. The objective is reportedly to amplify both production and development capabilities at its facility. ASML currently has a workforce of 1,700 in Berlin. ASML’s George Gomba mentioned intentions to further expand the employee count to 2,300 within the next few years.
