William Blair analyst Louie DiPalma keeps an Outperform rating on AeroVironment after the company announced the U.S. Army lifted the stop-work order issued September 16 on a contract related to its Switchblade systems. The firm increased fiscal 2025 revenue estimate to $812M from $746M. The reversal of the stop order is “extremely unusual” but a positive sign, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Blair believes the news exemplifies that the Army views the Switchblade-600 as mission critical for its new LASSO program.
