As previously reported, Argus analyst Christine Dooley downgraded Brinker to Hold from Buy with no price target The stock hs underperformed over the past quarter with a 5% rise vs. a 10% gain for the Russell 2000 index, though over the past year, Brinker shares have risen 146% and looked “fairly valued”, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Brinker’s recent Q4 earnings was also a miss vs. estimates, even though its margins are improving due to higher menu pricing and streamlined operations, while its traffic is also growing, Argus added.
