Ares Management is considering raising $400M for a new SPAC, even as dealmaking by blank-check companies has slowed down, Bloomberg’s Gillian Tan and Kamaron Leach report, citing people with knowledge of the matter. The firm is in talks with underwriters and has held meetings with prospective investors, the authors note.
