Ares Management is in talks to invest in English Premier League football club Chelsea FC, Silas Brown, David Hellier and Davide Scigliuzzo of Bloomberg report, citing people with knowledge of the matter. Ares is discussing the size and structure of a possible financing deal with Chelsea, sources told Bloomberg. Chelsea is looking to raise funds and one source said it would prefer an equity investment, Bloomberg notes.
