Goldman Sachs initiated coverage of Arch Capital with a Neutral rating and $80 price target. The analyst says the Street is not anticipating how much the company’s mortgage insurance earnings may decline in the next 12 months. The firm also sees less room for recent casualty accident years to develop favorably, saying Arch’s reserves do not look as conservatively booked as those at casualty peers.
