Applied Materials resumed with a Buy at Stifel

Stifel analyst Brian Chin resumed coverage of Applied Materials with a Buy rating and $132 price target. The near-term will be framed by "a softer investment backdrop," but he believes the breadth and balance of Applied Materials’ footprint should "prove advantageous across the semi investment cycle" and he views the current valuation as "reasonable," Chin tells investors.
