Apple will delay the release of the iPhone’s new artificial intelligence features in Europe when they launch elsewhere this year due to “uncertainties” amid the EU’s new competition rules, The Financial Times’ Javier Espinoza and Michael Acton report. Apple Intelligence will be delayed in Europe due to complexities in making the system compatible with the Digital Markets Act. “We do not believe that we will be able to roll out three of these features – iPhone Mirroring, SharePlay Screen Sharing enhancements, and Apple Intelligence – to our EU users this year,” Apple said in a statement to the publication.
