While Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone manufacturing in India matches China in quality, making the extraordinarily complex 20th anniversary iPhones outside China remains doubtful, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports. Apple’s move to produce iPhones in India should allow Apple to bypass 145% tariffs, and Apple right now has enough capacity in India to meet roughly a third of annual U.S. demand, Gurman writes.
