Apple’s (AAPL) top executive overseeing its Siri virtual assistant, Robby Walker, told staff during an all-hands meeting that delays to key features have been “ugly and embarrassing” and a decision to publicly promote the technology before it was ready made matters worse, sources told Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Walker expressed doubts about meeting the current release expectations and said that it’s unclear when the AI enhancements will actually launch, according to Bloomberg, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
