Apple, which has long been against adding touch screens for its Mac computers, is now having engineers actively work on such a project, though a launch of computers with touch screens has not been finalized, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, citing people familiar with the matter. Rivals have increasingly added touch screens to computers and the company could launch its first touch-screen Mac in 2025 as part of a larger update to the MacBook Pro based on current internal deliberations, sources told Gurman.
