Appian sees Q1 revenue $149.8M, consensus $149.45M

In a regulatory filing, Appian noted that the company is holding an investor day presentation during its Appian World conference on April 16. In connection with our investor meeting, the company is announcing preliminary financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2024. The filing stated: “While we expect our results will be within these ranges, our actual results may differ materially from these preliminary estimates… Cloud Subscriptions Revenue: Cloud subscriptions revenue is expected to be $86.6M, up 24% compared to the first quarter of 2023; Total Revenue: Total revenue is expected to be $149.8M, up 11% compared to the first quarter of 2023; GAAP net loss: GAAP net loss is expected to be between $(33.9M) and $(32.4M), compared to $(36.8M) for the first quarter of 2023; Adjusted EBITDA: Adjusted EBITDA loss is expected to be between $(2.0M) and $(1.0M), compared to adjusted EBITDA loss of $(15.8M) for the first quarter of 2023.”
