AppFolio CEO Jason Randall to resign

In a regulatory filing, AppFolio announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Jason Randall, notified its board of directors of his plans to resign from his positions as the company’s President, CEO and as a member of the board, effective as of March 1. He will also cease to be the company’s principal executive officer on the effective date. Following the effective date, Randall will continue to serve the company as an at-will employee and advisor through March 31 for the principal purpose of assisting the company in the orderly transition of his roles and responsibilities. "Randall’s departure is not the result of any disagreement with respect to the company’s operations, policies or practices," the filing stated. On March 1, the company announced that William Shane Trigg has been appointed CEO and President of the company, effective immediately. In such capacity, Trigg has been designated as the principal executive officer of the company. Trigg has served as the company’s President and General Manager, Real Estate since February 2023, and served as the company’s General Manager, Real Estate since April 2020.
