Apollo Global Management (APO) has expressed interest in acquiring a book of loans held by Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), Bloomberg’s Jan-Henrik Forster and Lisa Lee report, citing people familiar with the matter. Apollo is said to be among other investors expressing interest in parts of SVB, the report states, also indicating that while SVB had $73.6B in total loans as of the end of 2022, the extent of Apollo’s interest was not determined.
