On its Q4 earnings conference call, Annaly Capital said it expects to reduce its quarterly dividend in the first quarter 2023 to a level closer to historical yield on book value of 11%-2%, which compares to the approximately 16% yield on book it is currently paying. Annaly said it believes the decision allows it to appropriately manage the portfolio within conservative risk parameters.
