Shares of Amsterdam based payments processor Adyen (ADYEY) closed down over 35% or approximately $5.50 per share, to close at $9.86 on Thursday. The European payment processor reported IH EBITDA margin was 43% down from 59% in 1H22. Adyen management noted that hiring costs pinched margins and revenue growth was slower in North America. Adyen’s rivals in the include Stripe, Braintree, Fiserv (FI) and PayPal (PYPL).
