Morgan Stanley initiated coverage of Amkor Technology with an Equal Weight rating and $27 price target. Amkor is the second largest outsourced assembly and test, or OSAT, company by market share as of 2022 and has a leading position in automotive as well as 2.5D packaging capabilities, notes the firm, which adds that its rating reflects its expectations for “a subdued semi rebound.”
