America’s food giants forced to confront Ozempic, weight loss drugs, WSJ says

Big food companies and investors are watching as Novo Nordisk’s (NVO) Ozempic, Eli Lily’s (LLY) Mounjaro, and others are taken by millions of Americans, which may upend America’s diet industry and has begun raising new questions on how consumers will eat, Jesse Newman of The Wall Street Journal reports. Executives at companies from Campbell Soup (CPB) to Conagra Brands (CAG) are fielding questions on the drug’s potential impact. Other companies that may be impacted by the weight loss drugs include Hershey (HSY), Mondelez (MDLZ), and Hostess (TWNK).
