The company said, “American continues to see strong engagement with its industry-leading AAdvantage loyalty program, with active accounts up 7% year over year. In the third quarter, spending on co-branded credit cards increased 9% year over year as customers continue to value AAdvantage miles as their preferred rewards currency. American continues to work toward the implementation of its exclusive and expanded partnership with Citi, which starts in January 2026.”
