Barclays lowered the firm’s price target on American Airlines (AAL) to $16 from $18 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. The firm updated Q1 airlines estimates given guidance reductions at American, Southwest, United, JetBlue and Sun Country. In addition, Southwest adding bag fees and basic fares should be accretive to both the company and the market in the long-term, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
