Truist lowered the firm’s price target on AMD (AMD) to $130 from $145 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares after its Q4 earnings. The company’s results beat expectations, but almost entirely from client, and somewhat from gaming, while its datacenter missed and was guided down in Q1, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The flattish outlook for the first half of 2025 is also “discouraging considering market strength”, Truist added.
