Amazon’s ‘Fallout’ show pulls 65M viewers in first 16 days, Variety reports

Amazon Prime Video’s (AMZN) “Fallout” series pulled in 65M viewers in its first 16 days of availability since the full first season’s launch on April 10, Variety’s Joe Otterson reports. The number makes the adaptation of the Bethesda-owned gaming franchise the second most-watched title ever on Prime Video, the most-watched series since the debut of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” in 2022, the author notes. Amazon also claims the “Fallout” show is its most-viewed ever among adults 18-34, with 60% of the series’ audience coming from outside the U.S., the author says. The Fly notes that Microsoft (MSFT) acquired Bethesda in 2021.
