Amazon starts fresh round of layoffs impacting 18,000 people, Bloomberg reports

Amazon has started laying off over 18,000 employees, impacting around 1% of its total workforce and 6% of its corporate staff, Bloomberg’s Matt Day and Spencer Soper report. The layoffs are mostly in its retail and HR departments, Day and Soper write. Reference Link
