Poland’s consumer watchdog, the UOKiK, has fined Amazon close to $8M for misleading consumers about the conclusion of sales contracts on its online marketplace, also calling out the ecommerce giant for deceptive design elements which may mislead shoppers about elements like product availability and delivery dates, TechCrunch’s Natasha Lomas reports.
