Amazon (AMZN), in the company’s latest effort to expand its reach in health and medicine, is adding New York and Los Angeles to the cities where it offers same-day pharmacy delivery, reported The Wall Street Journal’s Sebastian Herrera. Amazon, which also offers same-day pharmacy delivery in Indianapolis, Miami, Phoenix, Seattle and Austin, Texas, says that it plans to offer the service in more than a dozen cities by the end of the year, The Journal noted. Other companies in the retail pharmacy and OTC medicine delivery space include Walmart (WMT), Target (TGT), Instacart (CART), Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) and CVS Health (CVS).
