Amazon’s Q2 revenue and EBIT beat Street estimates by 3% and 13%, respectively, amid a backdrop of a “nice” outperformance in the retail business, the analyst tells investors in a research note. While there is a lot to like from Amazon’s Q2 print, the lag in AWS growth vs. peers is likely to remain a sticking point as AI adoption heats, the firm argues.
