In its efforts to expand delivery capabilities to “air, Amazon (AMZN) has bugun delivering medical prescriptions by drone, in a test program in College Station, Texas, Matt Day wrote for Bloomberg. According to the Bloomberg story, a rapid delivery system for medical supplies has become a key category as a “viable delivery-by-drone business”. Other companies with ambitions in that space include: Alphabet’s Wing (GOOG;GOOGL), United Parcel Service (UPS) and drone startup Zipline, noted the Bloomberg story.
