In a recently filed legal filing, Amazon argued the National Labor Relations Board, NLRB, was unconstitutional, Noam Scheiber of The New York Times reports. The labor board consists of a prosecutorial arm that issue complaints against employers or unions; administrative judges who hear said complaints; and a five-member board where decisions can be appealed. In the legal filing, Amazon argues the “structure of the N.L.R.B. violates the separation of powers… impeding the executive power provided for in Article II of the United States Constitution.”
